Snowford Grange
Our Story
Welcome to Snowford Grange Counselling & Psychotherapy. We launched our practice in 2010, founded by Steve Goodrem and Helen Webb. After completing our training at Warwick University, we began by providing counselling to adults and young people. However, our passion for supporting emotional well-being soon led us to focus on children and young people.
Working Collaboratively with Schools & Private Individuals
Working with schools.
Initially working in secondary schools, we quickly recognised the importance of early intervention. This inspired us to expand our services into primary schools, developing a comprehensive counselling service that supports children, parents, and school staff alike. As our positive impact became evident, more schools sought our services, and our practice grew steadily.
Developing our Practice.
Today, we proudly work with around 60 primary, secondary, and SEND schools, offering counselling and supervision services that benefit the whole school community. At the same time, we maintain our commitment to adult counselling, ensuring that we cater to clients of all ages and backgrounds. Our dedication to excellence has been recognised through several awards for our counselling services in schools, affirming our position as some of the most experienced counsellors in the field.
Supporting Newly Qualified Counsellors.
In recent years, we've also established strong ties with counselling degree and MSc courses, further enriching our practice and connecting with the next generation of counsellors. Alongside this, we offer placement opportunities for counsellors in training, providing them with valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Working with Organisations.
In addition to our school work, we provide workplace counselling for various organisations and charities, while also managing a vibrant private practice that serves clients from all walks of life.
“As a headteacher of 12 years I have been witness to the incredible impact that Snowford Grange has had on my schools and the pupils with whom I work. It has also been transformative for staff who always come back to me with the highest of praise for the counselling they have received. Staff absences have been dramatically reduced because teachers and teaching assistants have had the option of accessing highly qualified, exceptional counsellors”
