Working with the Whole School Community

To benefit the wider school community, it is essential to foster positive relationships with parents and carers. This can be challenging, especially in situations where there is a lack of awareness and understanding of the issues at hand, or when emotions run high. Engaging an external, unbiased party to liaise with parents and carers will provide targeted support and enhance communication.

Helping to deliver more positive and constructive outcomes.

How Can Snowford Grange Help?

Proven Experience with Schools.

Snowford Grange has over 15 years of experience working alongside primary and secondary schools, as well as SEND provisions, offering a range of counselling and supervision services. Our team of experienced counsellors and psychotherapists collaborates with parents and carers to help navigate challenges, enhance understanding and communication, and facilitate positive behavioural change.

Finding the Right Practitioner.

We have developed a diverse team of over 40 qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. This allows us to assess the situation at hand and match parents or carers with a practitioner who can provide the most effective support. In our experience, finding the right counsellor to navigate these issues can significantly impact the outcomes.

“The strong partnership that has developed between Snowford Grange and the school means that they are always available to offer additional advice and support to staff and parents, both for the children they see in one-to-one sessions and, when needed, for the wider school community. As a result, Snowford has become an invaluable part of our enhanced pastoral provision.”
